Turns out I'm the only one using #catsofmastodaoine now! It's all Rose, except for my grandfather's cat drawing, which looks like Rose.
@mtechman it could also be humans who shorten their names to Cat 
@miridescent I named my daughter something that shortens to Cat, but she was mulish at a very early age.

@miridescent Her brother has a very straightforward name, and I thought he could pick a middle name when he "reached the age of reason". His college gave all such students "X" in their email etc. designations. So that's his middle name in practice!
