Took less than an hour to jailbreak my kindle (PW3) and install KUAL and KOreader on it. Then most of the day going through all the settings, shiny new toy!
Time to find more books for it now.
Calibre seems to be a lot better than the last time I used it too.
Calibre is a lot better now than it was last time I used it too but for some reason it got really confused about the titles of all my Kindie books and slurped in the file names rather than the actual book titles for the book names. All other meta data was fine.
Need to poke about and see what I can do about fixing that.
@helvick it behaved for that, but I don't have a lot of books in it so far
@triploidtree I think it was the KFX Input plugin and the fact that I just slurped in the entire local book directory for the Desktop Kindle application without checking if the defaults were OK. I can see the cover art so I can tell which book is which but search/sort are a bit borked.
Minor quibbles. Glad to have an unencumbered library again. I had far too many titles locked up with DRM.
