The #DougFord govt is the #TheMostCorruptGovernmentInTheHistoryOfCanada but still, 55% of eligible Ontario voters chose not to vote, so hey, he’ll hire a #Therme employee, no bigee, right? I mean #Therme misrepresented itself to get the contract, a 95-yr contract I might add, but hey, who cares, right? Not Ontario voters, that’s for sure.

@Trillium Right! #DougFord is so conscientious, he will triple check the 95-yr lease he already signed with #Therme to make sure he dotted all the “i’s” before allowing #OntarioPlace to be decimated.

Similar 'development' by many small towns out this way.
Feels weird finding hunks of Mississauga or Vaughn or Oakville in these little places.

@mike One man’s opinion….. I don’t think Carney needed to throw out sound bites or match the #PP slick slogan, glib pronouncements attitude. Informed and concerned Canadians know the dangers facing us and recognize that Carney has the presence, the intellect and the experience to see us through this. He has also demonstrated his ability to stand up to #donald without the need for a #DougFord bully stance or the #PP and #ABDanielleSmith kowtowing. #VoterApathy is the danger.

@CdnCurmudgeon And #DougFord was most likely handsomely rewarded for looking the other way. And now, Therme has a 95 year lease with Ontario. It’s really too bad 55% of Ontario eligible voters chose not to vote. Maybe #DoFo would’ve been booted out and #Therme right alongside him

NEW: Cathryn Motherwell is Ontario's new integrity commissioner after J. David Wake's retirement.
Ms. Motherwell has been deputy commissioner for the past six years and part of the office since 2009. The integrity commissioner is one of the key watchdogs at Queens' Park.

When asked if the #DougFord govt will quash the deal.. "No, we will not," Surma responded, again lauding Infrastructure Ontario's credentials.
