Here are 2 suggestions for most-geodiverse 50km squares on planet Earth. Both from W Scotland & both include numerous world-class outcrops of rocks from Archaean to Cenozoic + later. One is Skye-Rum-Eigg+Glenelg, the other is Iona-Mull-Garvellachs-Kerrera-Morvern. How to quantify? Any comparable suggestions from other bits of our planet? 🤔 #Geology #Geodiversity
