Google traditionally maintained excellent protection of user data. They fought back against inappropriate and/or overbroad government efforts to obtain user data, even Googlers could not access user data without serious "need to know", authorizations, and logging/auditing of access. I've worked inside Google and I've seen how this works firsthand. So I've -- until recently -- always said that I considered Google's security and privacy teams to be top notch, world class. The problem now is we've already seen Google's billionaire CEO Sundar bend over for Trump. A million bucks to his inauguration, a place close by him at the inauguration itself. It is no longer safe -- in my opinion -- to simply assume that Google will still maintain those previous privacy/security standards in the face of demands or even just requests from the fascist Trump administration. It's really as simple, and sad, as that. L

⬆️ As part of the UN Open Source Principles initiative, the UN has invited other organizations to support and officially endorse these principles. To collect responses, they are using CryptPad instead of Google Forms.

A technical question:

I'm making a quiz using Google Forms. It needs to have the capacity to "add up" the answers & give a result to the respondent.

I'd like to give a different value to each answer, e.g. 3 answer options having values of 100%, 50%, and 0%.

But google forms only allows 2 answers, one "right" and one "wrong".

Does anyone know either a way around this, or a different tool to make quizzes?

ЯК ПРАЦЮЄ ФІШИНГ З GOOGLE FORMS?

Після останньої публікації про фішинову схему з Google Forms, ми вирішили самостійно протестувати її, і переконалися, що вона працює.

Proof of Concept:

1. Зловмисник має обліковий запис Google і переходить в сервіс форм Google Forms, де створює нову форму.
2. Оформлює форму як легітимне (фішингове) повідомлення від Google. Змінюємо всі кольори на білий. Текст ставимо нібито від імені техпідтримки, використовуючи легітимний стиль. Наприклад:
"Ми попередили несанкціоновану спробу входу у Ваш обліковий запис" або щось у тому роді. Можна вказати що-завгодно, будь-яку приманку, аж до посилання.
3. Додаємо поле для збору email.
4. Переходимо в налаштування форми Google Forms і вмикаємо обов'язково опцію "Дублювати відповіді респондента на його ел. пошту".
5. Надсилаємо цю форму самому собі на email.
6. Отримуємо, відкриваємо листа і заповнюємо поле, де треба вказати електронну пошту, але увага: вказуємо НЕ СВОЮ, а пошту жертви.
5. Google як ні в чому не бувало відправляє жертві на вказану зловмисником (без жодної її участі) електронного листа з офіційного домену google.com.
6. Далі розгублену жертву зловмисники просто включають в оперативну розробку.

На нашу думку, цю "лавочку" варто було б прикрити... Тому що тут явно кульгає логіка безпеки.

Хоча, чесно кажучи, таких схем в екосистемі Гугла десятки... (наприклад, схема з дорвеями) І ніхто не спішить їх викривати, щось змінювати. А значить комусь це вигідно (?).

@bigTanuki @BillySmith I'm convinced @frameworkcomputer uses #GoogleForms not as a sole tool, but merely #ingress pipeline for their #support workflows, so there is like demand to design a whole workflow and architecture from the ground up to handle and process supoort queries.

Maybe someone will enhineer somethibg aroubd #Gitlab or #Girea's #issue #Ticketing system?

I am however shure something like a customer chat can be done with like #Zulip and for #RemoteDesktop-based #TechSupport there's an excellent tool called "#Dayon!" which is super easy to use for the support-requesting side, doesn't rely on centralized services being available and only needs a few settings by the supporter to get up and running...

  • If I were running my own company, I'd propably sponsor the development of Dayon to the same amount as it would cost to pay for AnyDesk instead!

Finalmente si comincia a capire che l'#APE (Attestato di Prestazione Energetica) non misura quello che si vuole far credere, che è un bordello prepararli, e quindi si chiede ai certificatori un parere (non vincolante, quindi inutile)

Ma incredibilmente #ENEA usa #GoogleForms per fare sondaggi, tra l'altro senza conteggio e invito, uno può mandare infiniti sondaggi e falsare completamente la ricognizione

Già da questo si capisce la serietà NULLA di questa roba 😞
