Had the privilege of seeing Hood somewhere, around the start of the century. Not sure where. Orbit, maybe, who knows.

Played this. One of the most memorable experiences of my life. Turned the club upside down. Incredible.

"I Want Your Love" is a song by American band Chic from their second studio album #CestChic (1978). Featuring a solo lead vocal by #AlfaAnderson, the song became a very successful follow-up to their hit single "#LeFreak". According to #KathySledge, the song was originally slated to be recorded by #SisterSledge; their background vocals were kept on the final track. Sister Sledge ended up recording "#HesTheGreatestDancer", which was supposed to be recorded by Chic.

"Gettin' Jiggy wit It" is a song by #American #rapper and actor #WillSmith, released as the third single from his debut solo album, #BigWillieStyle (1997). The verse is based around a #sample of "#HesTheGreatestDancer" by #SisterSledge, and the chorus is sampled from "Sang and Dance" by #theBarKays. Released in early 1998, the song was Smith's second hit produced by #PokeAndTone and #LES, who replaced his long-time partner #JazzyJeff.

"We Are Family" is a song recorded by American vocal group #SisterSledge. Composed by #BernardEdwards and #NileRodgers, they both offered the song to #AtlanticRecords; although the record label initially declined, the track was released in April 1979 as a #single from the album of the same name (1979) and began to gain club and radio play, eventually becoming the group's #signatureSong. "We Are Family" went #gold.
