"Brexit campaign donor and now Reform UK candidate Arron Banks stood by his 2017 comments describing Bristol as a “little Somalia.” He then blamed Somalians and Romanians for crime in the city. He also said that the role had very little power and there wasn't much that whoever won could get done."

The only reason Banks can have sex without paying is because he married an east European immigrant.

Bloody hypocrite and #racist.

@Lassielmr I'm not so sure.

'Lord' Marvin et al. weren't very popular and since then the shitshow of Labour at national level hasn't helped either.

Meanwhile the Greens are coming in for heavy criticism for their running of Bristol.

As for the other local authorities in #WECA, they're usually well to the right of opinion within the city itself.

" I know how important arts (and) creative industries are to regenerating an area. And this is a classic instance of how a part of Bristol that for a long time, ignored and forgotten and really struggled, was completely transformed."

It was a solid working-class area before it was *transformed* with trendy bars and overpriced food shops, you muppet.
