Arrived in a small Muskoka town,at noon, to begin my solo writing retreat. Can’t enter my suite until five so I am wandering the streets which are filled (both roads and sidewalks) with an inordinate number of tourists. It is stressful. And now it is raining. Thankfully, the library is downtown and open. Yay for libraries! Brought my journal in, found a comfy chair, and now I will attempt to unwind. #writing #WritingRetreat #solo

I was accepted last month for another (my second) week-long residency at the Rockvale Writers' Colony.
