*Everywhere* is having a MAGA moment right now, and no one should be cavalier about the threat, or make the assumption “it can’t happen here.”
“It can’t happen here” is only true if a very large number of people are willing to fight it at the first appearance, and keep fighting until it’s dead (or forever, because this kind of fascism never really dies)
