I had no idea lightnings can also exhibit Doppler effect (blueshift & redshift), do they?
Either case, this photo of a lightning that I took last night shows some lightning arcs shifting in colour slightly to blue (approaching source of light) and red (withdrawing source of light) and they do appear to be consistent with its anatomy
