Starsky and Hutch
#Fujifilm x-t20, speed booster, adapter and Tokyo Kogaku UV Topcor 100mm f4 lens. Strong grain and film simulation settings tweaked for that vintage 70s look.
Hutch (David Soul) left us earlier this year, but the cars endure. This is not an original from the TV show, but a 1976 Ford Gran Torino, a special edition matching the movie car. 1100 we're made.
Black and white digital photo rig:
Fujifilm XT-20, Acros std b&w film simulation, strong grain, speed booster M42 to Fuji X, Topcor UV to M42 adapter, Tokyo Kogaku Topcor UV 100mm f4 short telephoto.
For close-up, I add a Topcon Close up n.1 filter lens. For contrast I use topcon red R2 or yellow Y2 or gradient filters. You can get similar result (close) with Acros R or Acros Ye.
The Greek grill by night
A little local restaurant. A few tables and booths.
Shot with my Fujifilm XT-20 and a Tokyo Kogaku topcon RE Auto 35mm 2.8 manual focus lens in Topcor RE mount, adapted with speed booster for a true 35mm field of view and great night time performance.
Even with the adapter (in this case the purely mechanical typefor m42), the 1971 (silver aperture ring, very early and rare) #fujica #fujinon 1.8 55mm with the original lens hood is about the same size to a manual 7artisans 1.4 55mm for the fuji X (also with a hood). Both provide a telephoto equivalent to about 82mm on a 35mm SLR (a classic focal for portrait). Next picture will be one taken with this camera, adapter and lens. I will compare it with the speedbooster. #photography #camera #xt20
One week into my three-week stay in #Taiwan, my @FujiFilm #XT20 gave me a proper scare tonight by not turning on anymore in #Tainan. 6.5 years of proper use, but still. It's back to normal function now, fingers crossed it stays that way. Still may need a service upon returning to Europe. #travel #photography
