So, what does one say in English (or Irish) to invite someone to have a good meal? Like bon appetit or guten Appetit, but English (or Irish)?

@triploidtree this has been discussed a few times, there doesn't seem to be an equivalence. Closest would be 'Enjoy' or 'taitneamh as' (or something sasta related)?
@chebe I could go "subh milis" or "an leithreas" for the Irish, only one person in the receiving household knows any Irish (and hated it all the way through school). "Bain sásta as" could work either
