@spinni81 yes, MPG is awkward but I dare not rephrase someone's quote. 
100km for under 6 tablespoons is an excellent, visceral value!
6 tablespoons is on the order of how much old cars take to start up, so:
"Travel 100km on the same energy as a car can burn before leaving the driveway!"
has some ring to it I think!

Update - a human on an electric bicycle is even MORE energy efficient than a human on a pedal-powered bike
Clarification - this is for human transport; for cargo, e-bikes, rail transport, and ship transport each have mass ranges for which they are the most efficient.

So it's Sunday. Wasn't it just Friday? Where'd the weekend go? 
Anywayz, today it's a short #bike ride for some nice breakfast, and then to church.
Treating myself real nice because I've been extra good the past 2 weeks.
3 gym sessions x 2 weeks!
Sitting next to the window. I look and more cars have arrived. I see the space between the parked #cars and... I'm so glad I can come here on a #bicycle! 
Getting into something new. A bit strenuous for me but, I must say, I'm kinda enjoying it. 
I had a free trial last Thursday and signed up for a 3-month membership. It's not far from home and I feel safe parking my #bicycle at their basement parking. 
I'd say my Monday morning was pretty good. 
Maximum heart rate was too high but it was only for a short time.
I hope I really stick with it and get my money's worth.
