My wife and I stopped by our local game store this morning for #FreeRPGDay. We picked up the Basic Roleplaying Quickstart and the Deck of Worlds Sampler Pack. I'm a fan of generic #ttrpg so I was interested in taking a look at how BRP does it, plus there are a few scenarios in the back. We've cracked open Deck of Worlds and made a few mini scenarios with it already. This will be fun to keep in a purse for killing time when we don't have a crossword handy.

Apparently it's #FreeRPGDay so allow me to present my RPG that is Free (or at least pay-what-you-want)! Glowburn & Radscars is a Cairn hack that was heavily influenced by Mutant Crawl Classics, and is designed as a way to play classic post-apocalyptic adventure modules for that game as well as older ones like Gamma World. I'm in the process of making a full-length adventure for it, as well as writing up a series of adventure sites! https://bread-wiz.itch.io/glowburn-and-radscars

#FreeRPGDay #TTRPG report:
1st game (#DCC) was good. Solved a puzzle and proceeded directly to the boss room, and cheesed it with a clutch paralysis spell. Cleaned the rest up afterwards.

2nd game (#TRV) was ok. The GM pulled out the boardgame assets for nice effect, but hacked the rules a bit, somewhat for the worse. We didn't get to experience the original offering, but still had fun.

Celebrated #FreeRPGDay with a trip to my local game shop.
