@kamikat has been compiling a best of list from her online research, recommendations from other fans in the community.

The new Gizmoplex makes it simple and pretty cheap, less than 10 USD, to buy each episode individual including DRM-free downloads.

I've created a playlist on @jellyfin running on Lovelace so we can easily watch. I even found cover art I like for the list.

I realized playlists would be good ideas to for the movies we've been adding to follow #FridayThrillerClub and #KungFuSat.

Part of it is the shorthand, the obvious, maybe even overdone, power dynamic between Lex and Otis. Clearly played well to comedic effect, to my earlier points about the corniness. And Teschmacher does the hard work. TAS Teschmacher is my favorite version, she approaches something like a peer, or at least more than a lieutenant. #SupermanTheMovie #FridayThrillerClub

This scene fed the feeling. Lex was clearly brilliant, or at least well read. But to hijack nuclear missiles? Where were the priors for that? We literally see superman demonstrate all his powers up to this point. Lex simply is. We get some motive later but still, how are we to really know who this guy is? Bless Hackman but he makes it work anyway. #SupermanTheMovie #FridayThrillerClub

Luthor's lair still breaks my mind. Young me was fascinated by the odd, palatial expanse, a literal subterranean lair. Who was this guy other than a supervillain, like without showing or telling us, it was already established. I mean, we all knew, even seeing this movie in the theater, who Lex was, but still the choice left me with an odd feeling, an incompleteness or guessed at priors. #SupermanTheMovie #FridayThrillerClub

Good morning and TZAG, friends.

The rain rolled in last night so woke to a gray morning #today. I'd like to skip walkies, the weekend brain is already strong. Thankfully no meetings means I can down shift a little, start recovery from the week a little early.

$dayjob agenda is simple, finish a bug fix and work on my main task. I'll try to finish both but won't stress about either.

We are here for #FridayThrillerClub despite modest disaster earlier. @kamikat is on the injured list after a fall walking the dogs. Hoping it is only a sprain, been icing and some analgesics. We'll re-assess in the morning.
