“This is a dramatic move. #SMU is the oldest Anglophone institution in Canada. We’ve never had a #strike in the #history of our members. So for us to come out with a 91%? This is stronger than a strike vote. And it has nothing to do with salaries. It has to do with the survival of our #university.”

@HalifaxExaminer
Thank you for exposing the systemic injustice in the Canadian colonial/fascist legal system. The liberals are afraid to tackle the deadly corruption while the cons are a source of injustice via racism, sexism and classism, so are keys to the systemic harm.

Only the media, and the voters, have the power to fix the deadly corruption of Canadian injustice.

This victim graciously thanks the #HalifaxExaminer for being a hero of democracy!

Keep up the good work, eh!

The #NovaScotia government, #Halifax ( #HRM ), and two private developers will build a rent-geared-to-income tiny home community in Lower #Sackville, with residents moving in the autumn of 2024.

The project will be the first community of its kind in #NS, but will also displace people who are now living in tents on the land on which the #TinyHomes will be built.
