A new install script has joined the family. If you are a fan of #Hyprland then rejoice.. We have created a script that will make it less painful to install it. It also includes an option that will apply the #ML4W dot files, should you choose it as well as our famous toolkit. Please make sure to read the note included.

Chyba nie jest tak ze mną źle w temacie #linux, skoro udało mi się postawić #ArchLinux z menedżerem okien #Hyprland I teraz mam zagwozdkę. Iść dalej z tym tematem, czy pozostać w debianowym środowisku?

Anybody have Wayland-compatibile tiling compositor (WM) recommenddations? I'd been using #xmonad for years, but it doesn't work with Wayland. #KDE #Plasma with #bismuth was good for me, but Bismuth doesn't work with latest Plasma. I've really not found anything good with Gnome, and the options like #sway and #hyprland require a bunch of time to configure and don't do things like remembering what to do when I plug in different external monitors like KDE does. I appreciate KDE's automation.

It's been a minute.... #Arch #Linux #Hyprland #Waybar and #ML4W dots. Config was borrowed and tweaked by me.

I kinda looked into the #hyprland controversy, and...I mean, I'm a #FOSS old fart. Sometimes you do need a thick skin in this community. But a couple things are alarming. Like changing people #pronouns on Discord without their consent. That really goes well beyond what is acceptable. It's find to disagree, and that sort of discourse is what keeps the community going. But...that....ehe....let's not do that.

At the greatest behest of people....I am trying #niri instead of #hyprland! I like it! It fits well with my worflow. I'm very much my Papa's grandson. He's take me out to his shop with all his tools, and clean tables - what we gonna make, Papa? "Fuck if I know, boy. Something". So I can start off and just let things evolve how I want. #linux

Really enjoying my #hyprland + #emacs config. I can see why so many #nixos boys love hyprland. I know, the maintainer is a douche, but I have feelings about #cancelculture If someone is being a douche, it's good to let them know they can still be douchey...just not to other people.

heya #linux gang, I need your help again.
currently when screensharing my games with discord on #hyprland the stream gets very laggy (happens on obs as well, my game runs perfectly fine tho)
this only happens when playing resource intense-ish games.
idk if that is a nvidia issue or if i am able to fix this.

Werde in der Zwischenzeit gleiche Konfiguration für meine Tante vornehmen.

Mir gefällt vor allem, wie schlank das System ist. Im Grunde nur #firefox und noch ein paar "Hilfsprogramme" (Konsole, KDE-Einstellungen, usw.)

Trying not to spend all my waking hours playing with #Hyprland. Playing with #Linux has reawakened that old joy of experimentation and discovery that other systems lost along the way.
