Castrovel Inspirational Pic of the Week
From Paizo's Patfhinder Bestiary 4 - there is an artist's signature scrawled at the bottom, which unfortunately I can't read. If anyone knows the who the artist is, please let me know.

This is, of course, a Formian. It seemed appropriate to post, since this last story arc for _A Castrovel Adventure: Part 5_ deals with Lady Vaeol meeting a Formian prisoner. This has given me the opportunity to explore the Formians a little further from a worldbuilding perspective, and, although the Lashunta will remain my main focus, I find them fascinating. I am grateful for the opportunity to rethink them as more than just dronelike extensions of their hivequeen. Instead, I believe they love, pursue personal value, and examine themselves, in their own way.

Two spawn cornered a PC and knocked him out, and he and another were bitten. The KO'd PC was revived with a burst of Heal, and these two rallied on the landing as they and the vampires were pinned by the fire.

The PCs were on <10 HP, the spawns were pretty much dead, but the baron had plenty of HP left despite sun exposure

Then, the roof caved in above them and sun shone in, and the vampires were destroyed.

It was a Deus Ex Machina ending, but my favourite so far.
