I know I haven't posted much lately, but it's been a crazy couple of days. Saturday night I went to an awesome #Beltane celebration, then had #JusticeChoir on Sunday, where we are preparing for a performance at this year's local #PrideFest. Yesterday was trying to chase down paperwork stuff in between teaching two #English lessons, and today was a big job interview with the #Iowa Department for the #Blind. I am now taking some serious slow-down time, thank goodness. At least the initial interview is done with. Now it's just a wait-and-see situation.

AP NewsA mob storms Tbilisi Pride Fest site, forcing the event's cancellationHundreds of opponents of gay rights have swarmed the site of an LGBT festival in the capital of the country of Georgia, vandalizing the stage, setting fires and looting the event’s bar. Deputy Georgian Interior Minister Aleksandre Darakhvelidze said participants in the Tbilisi Pride Fest were safely evacuated from the scene. The event’s organizers called on people not to come to the lakeside park where the festival was to be held. Georgian news media estimated about 5,000 people marched toward the site. Many of them waved Georgian flags and carried religious icons. Animosity toward sexual minorities is strong in Georgia and some previous LGBT events have met disruptions.

GenQ Pride Fest 2023 has begun in Russia, despite new laws reenacting fascism. This year, the events dedicated to the celebration of Pride Month take place online. The site itself with event announcements has already been blocked by Roskomnadzor.

Had a real fun time educating people about #TheSatanicTemple (#ScientologyForMallGoths) today at #Seattle #PrideFest on #CapHill.

Thanks to the friends who came out to support the four #QueerSatanic #Heretics still being sued by The Satanic Temple in federal appellate court and now King County Superior Court.

#TST is also still suing Newsweek and its reporter (but maybe not her anymore!) for writing about us. In addition, the #SatanicTemple is now suing a TikToker in Texas for talking about our case. Check the profile link for more.
