Does #tories latest bad idea include a #cure for #longcovid or any of a thousand other debilitating conditions?
Of course not.
Luckily I don't have to claim #benefits as I 'languish' at home with #trigeminalneuralgia after 7 yrs training to get my #job. But just like those who have to claim, I'd jump at the chance to have my #health & #working life back.
More than any other #Government, this one is so deluded they all think they're #medical experts.

This more or less nails the reality of why the numbers of people with #mentalhealth issues is so high in the #UK
Having a #sicknote means you're #health is so bad you have to accept an #income so low you can't afford #food let alone #heating. Even if eligible nobody wants to try to survive on #StatutorySick Pay or a#PersonalIndependencePayment
When you think #Tory cruelty has hit the lowest, they go lower.

A #Fitnote is a #sicknote in which a #medically #trained #physician, usually a #GP provides the #medical reason someone either cannot #work or they need a temporary #adaptation to do their #job. #Tories want to take this #role away from those who know about your #health & can make a #qualified #judgement.
