So, I completely misread the description on Amazon and thought that the women in question were cannibals, so if you watch this and also expect it to involve clear and present danger from them for the cosmonauts, you too will be somewhat disappointed! 😂

That said, since a significant amount of footage was cannibalised from a completely different film, it is perhaps an apt word regardless. 🤔

What makes internet, including live streaming globally possible?

It is a network of sub-sea cables draped across the cold, dark contours of the ocean floor, transmitting sights and sounds at the speed of light through strands of glass fibre as thin as your hair but thousands of miles long.

CNETThe Secret Life of the 500+ Cables That Run the InternetLaced across the cold depths of the world's oceans is a network of multimillion-dollar cables, which have become the vital connections of our online lives.

Working on my budget… I spend $43 a month supporting podcasts, Mastodon, and public radio. I also spend about $74 a month on streaming video (Prime, HBO, PBS, Netflix, AppleTV+)

Tough to allocate what % of my Amazon Prime and Apple One to video streaming, so I guessed.)

Work reimburses me for my internet costs and a portion of my cell bill (since I’m 100% remote), so I got that going for me. #Podcasts #StreamingMedia #PublicRadio #PublicTelevision
