So I missed #vgmwednesday again? Sigh one of these days.

Regardless, here’s Starry Skies, a completely custom theme for Sky levels in #SuperMarioWorld ROM hacks. Composed by Harumi Makoto, it’s like the Mario equivalent to Stickerbrush Symphony:

Yeah, speedrunners are great, but my favorite game glitch of all time is that in Super Mario World, every time the timer passes 100s the music gets faster.

So in the last bonus level, with way too many green apples, you could time it to eat one right after the timer passed to 99s over and over, ramping the music to a ridiculous cacophony.
