Any recommendations for a list/tasks app that is mobile friendly (#Android), good privacy policy, but also allows for syncing across devices? Not interested in anything Big Tech owned.

Had started using TickTick but am mad it has such a low ceiling for # of lists before it makes you go premium. I don't want another subscription (but am happy to pay, at some point, for a good app).

I might look to see if there are any selfhost or #Pikapods friendly options.

🤝 Together with public institutions across Europe, we’re proud to be building a future where project management is secure, transparent, and truly collaborative.

Many cities and municipalities already use OpenProject to coordinate their teams and projects, all while staying in full control of their data. And the list keeps growing. Thank you for your continuous trust! 💙

🛠️ Need a transparent, flexible way to manage internal requests, without switching tools?

Many teams in the public sector already use OpenProject for ticket management:
– Work packages as tickets
– Custom fields and workflows
– Internal comments (Enterprise)
– Agile boards for better overview

I've been struggling to recognize my impact and output at work. My to-do list just keeps growing, but I'm busy all day. I hoped the log in my to-do list would give me some peace of mind, but that's just disappointing as well. I might need a new way of tracking my work. Maybe adding all meetings to my to-do list just to see that I was actually working at the end of the day? Also, my tooling (I'm using Things) has no way of tracking effort/duration. I'm open to better suggestions.

🏛️ Agile in public administration? – Yes, that's possible!

Sometimes, rigid structures make agility seem impossible for public institutions, but hybrid project management makes it easier to get started. Boards, dailys & retrospectives can help bring flexibility while keeping structure.

9to5 Google: Google Tasks is now its own website . “At the end of 2023, Google Calendar gained a fullscreen Tasks interface on the web. That experience is now available as a standalone Google Tasks website.”

I used Daylio to quickly capture my mood, but stopped using it after a year.

I also like Raindrop for hoarding... for collecting links and ideas.

Goblin Tools is also magical, especially for analyzing tone of voice in emails and text messages. The magic todolist is also nice idea, but I don't have a use case for this.
