Wir bauen für unser neues #Uberspace8 gerade auch ein schickes neue Mail System. Das machen wir aber natürlich auf unserer eigenen Infrastruktur auf unseren eigenen Servern in Frankfurt und schieben eure Mails nicht gen USA zu Microsoft und Co. Kein wenn und aber!

@dde @thleemhuis Ich hab auch einen vServer bei Netcup und bin auch zufrieden. Mails hoste ich selber 
Ansonsten fällt mir z.B. noch #uberspace ein.

Ich muss echt sagen, #Uberspace (@hallo) ist ein wirklich cooles Hosting. Hut ab, sehr nice gemacht!

Ich will gern auf dem Heimserver #Nextcloud hosten (weil viel Storage dort) und das auch extern verfügbar haben; bin aber unsicher, ob ich wirklich Port 443 nach Hause aufmachen will. Einen anderen Port find ich hingegen zu klobig/hässlich. Wie macht ihr das so?

Habe meinen Standard-GitLab-CI/CD-Workflow, den ich für die meisten Kundenprojekte verwende, nun auf Gitea Actions umgeschrieben (identisch zu GitHub Actions). Nun kann ich anfangen, meine ganzen Repos von gitlab.com zu entfernen und auf meinen eigenen Gitea-Server bei Uberspace zu migrieren :-) #gitlab #gitea #uberspace

with PDA (and So 12 hours with #IodeOS maybe a bit early for feedback. But I'm thrilled. Everything is running. Unlike #eOS I have Android 15 and #seedvault is running. I had to set up a #ntfy server (hello #uberspace) so #moshidon (#fdroid) pushes, but that's not bad.
I know there are even freer #androids out there, but for me it's a mix of privacy, simplicity and a whole lot of good feeling.
Also important: it has to run on the #fairphone5, because I specifically bought it for sustainability.

@sandzwerg @masek I'm using #freshrss as well since years, self hosted on #uberspace It works fine without needing much effort.
Come on, warum wollen #Hosting-#Provider wie #Hetzner meine Adresse und Telefonnummer? Bei #Uberspace geht's doch auch ohne.
