What I like about diving are these unexpected moments.

Our local lake. Been there hundreds of times. You think to yourself, nothing special.

And then you experience this special light mood, this abundance of color. The shore is flooded. Just below the surface, you get unexpected insights into the beauty of nature. The good things are often so close.

This moment, captured in the fall of 2024.

IRL this is really large, 2.5 m square, I love big paintings, someday I'd like to do that. Cool color and textures and variety, seems like a positive celebration of life under the sea, diversity, adventure.

I was listening to a podcast about kelp forest and purple sea urchins yesterday. The woman was comparing underwater climate change to forest fires that we can't see, I thought that was interesting.

From a diver's perspective 🤿

This is the entrance area of the #CuevaDelAgua an underwater #cave. The view upwards shows you an impressive ceiling. It somehow reminds you of stalactites. But this cave wasn't dry long enough for that. You think about how the water has created this work of art over thousands of years...
