On my recent trip, I laughed at a sophisticated bandit trying to get into a food bag. Gulls have been shown to know when you are looking at them and they sneak up when not noticed.

The woman, being vigilant, forced the bandit to move on to an undefended table nearby. That group better hurry back. I went back to eating and...

Was touring the Pelican National Wildlife Refuge hours ago. This is the first NWR ever created. More upcoming in this thread.

🦋 Saw many Great Southern Whites feeding. Their caterpillars feed on Mustards, Peppergrass, Saltwort, and Sea Rocket. They are found in coastal scrub, saltwater marshes, and dunes. Unusual coloration on the body.
