No-one can know how good a PM Corbyn might have been because he never became Prime Minister; we can all agree that Boris Johnson did become PM and was probably the Worst Prime Minister Ever.
Nor can Bozo point a finger at Keir Starmer for trying to keep some time free for his family as such contact keeps a leader grounded & fresh and Sasha treated Chequers like his personal luxury spa retreat and failed to attend COBRAs when needed.

Just a reminder but you all know. The Tories have no direct control over interest rates. The drop to 2% today will no doubt be taken by the Conservatives as a win for them.
As I type this, Jeremy H(C)unt is already taking credit for the drop on TV saying their the plan is working.

spare a thought for all those Tory MPs who have stood down or are likely to lose their seats at the hands of an exasperated electorate on July 4th.
It's not just a tragedy for them personally but in many cases for their families also - as they have employed spouses, sons and daughters in their MP's offices at public expense. Whole families could be thrown on the job-market...
Perhaps we should set up a Gofukc.me page for them?

Have long called the Europhobes in the Conservative Party (the Tories/Nastiz), UKIP, Reform, Referendum Party, etc the Euroseptics (because their politics is so disgusting, festering, suppurating and putrid).
Somehow my opinion is only strengthened by the present state in which the Nastiz in government have left our rivers, coastal waters and lakes.

In business the old joke has it that you engage external consultants to tell you what you always planned to do because their "independence" (moot, as you are paying them) lends your choice a degree of credibility.
That is summat our wonderful government would never sink so low as to conceive of doing by appointing "independent" expertise to advise them how to restrict our rights, of course. Never.

Ironically, under our Second-Past-The-Post Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the Conservatives have changed the voting system for mayoral elections like that of the Mayor of London from a limited form of #PR ('Alternative Vote') to a simple (but unfair-to-voters) First-Past-The-Post system.
