Like any other living person I’m not suggesting a trans woman is not capable of committing a crime but can anyone name a single historical sexual or violent assault or any other crime of note that has been committed by a trans person in #Aotearoa #NewZealand? I’m sure there has to be some sort of historical evidence or record of such a thing occurring to justify the Deputy Prime Minister of NZ prioritising so much of his time to this irrelevant issue. #NZPol #WinstonPeters #Senility

Whangārei's fluoridation mandate must be implemented by March 28th. However the Whangārei District Council is refusing... something to do with having little to no understanding of the science involved mixed with a bunch of conspiracy theories.

Naturally NZFirst intends to support the cookers. Winston Peters is a fool.

This paywalled ODT story sums up the Casey Costello tobacco saga & related events, including a quote for the ages from Winston in parliament last week.

The ODT describes "...a not always coherent speech", which is typical of Peters these days. But how about this line?

"...our aim is to make harmful products more appealing to current cigarette smokers — that’s why the temporary trial".

Harmful... made more appealing... case closed.

When I heard Winston Peters talking sense about the UN resolution demanding Israel withdraw from occupied Palestine, I thought I'd flipped into a parallel universe, where Winston First decides policy based on verifiable facts and consistent political principles;

Nothing to see here, folks. Just our Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy PM defaming a former Australian MP. The allegation is serious enough that RNZ has withdrawn the offending comments from a Morning Report interview.

The Minister for Cooker Affairs says Auckland Uni having designated areas for Māori and Pasifika students compares to the Ku Klux Klan. I guess they were threatening to hang white students... or something.

Meanwhile ACT is telling their supporters that *they* are the victims. Imagine other ethnic groups having safe areas within our public institutions. Whatever next? Equality?
