I have an objection to your remark.
When you say "...as the #climate apocalypse advances it's going to be every country for itself."
That may be how you think it will work out, but it is difenitely NOT the way how it should work out.
The whole globe has to work it out. It should not be about #monopolism by China or protectionism by the USA. I agree the EV production should be diversified but your argumentation is counter productive in the long run.
