The Verge: LinkedIn will let your verified identity show up on other platforms. “LinkedIn is expanding its free verification system to the wider web, allowing external sites and platforms to integrate LinkedIn verification rather than building their own tool. Adobe is among the first companies to sign up.”

Finally deleted my Facebook account a little earlier than I said but I need to do it.
Myself it is a relief as I am finally free of the mainstream social networks. It feels so good to be free of such toxic places at last.
Scale and monoculture are out. Cozy corners and vibes are in.

Found in my RSS feeds: Linktree Finder. It’s very bare-bones, just a search form. The search stems, so searching for “painting” will find Nottingham Face Painting, for example. The search listings are just the name of the Linktree and the URL.

Well only less than 15 days to go and I will be finally free of Facebook and Meta which will be a great relief in the end.
Since not using Facebook my mental health has improved greatly.
What I miss the most is an #AddressBook for #SocialNetworks and the #Fediverse #Decentralized #Interoperable. A spreadsheet is just a decent solution for the moment. For Friends, Clients, Partners, Groups, Thematic interests, you name them... Nothing like this with Buffer, Publer, Metricool, SocialBee, etc
