Amy Johnson lands in Darwin, Northern Territory, becoming the first woman to fly solo from England to Australia (she left on May 5 for the 11,000 mile flight).

She flew in the Second World War as a part of the Air Transport Auxiliary and disappeared during a ferry flight. The cause of her death has been a subject of discussion over many years.

A now forgotten early #aviator and #vaudeville mind reader, Hope Eden, created an absolute sensation when she took a whirlwind shopping expedition in #Albany in 1919 – Taylor Swift might not get more attention.

Eden may have been the first entertainer to regularly travel from gig to gig in her own airplane – at a time when landings were made in fields.

- A new “Crop” option for switching between cropping & scaling resolution has been added
- The internal SVT-AV1 parameters have been tweaked for a 0.3-0.8% improvement in perceptual quality
