Continuity: Castell Bryngwyn, Anglesey began life as a Neolithic henge monument (~2000BCE). In later prehistoric times, it became a defended enclosure, probably of a settlement. Pottery finds shows it was used at least as long as the 1st century CE.

The area has numerous prehistoric structures and is still poorly understood in total.

HENGE 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 Journey To Voltus B
(31.01.2025)

"In general, you have to say about Henge that you can only hate or love this band. However, if you are able to get involved with the band's weird concept and their equally weird music, "Journey To Voltus B" is an all-round coherent concept album, the LP version of which comes with an innovative gimmick that should make every vinyl collector cheer for joy."

(Prog-Rock, Acid, Space Rock, Synthie Rock, Rave / Cosmic Dross Records)

Now owned by English Heritage, the Thornborough Henges are a complex of three large Neolithic henge monuments located in North Yorkshire, England, dating back to between 3500 and 2500 BCE. They are notable not only for their archaeological importance but also for their contemporary cultural relevance, as English Heritage has been supportive of the Beltane Pagan festival held there.
