Yesterday we made it back from BSA Summer Camp with the troop . Only 30 to 40 mosquito bites per limb so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. That's with 40% DEET applied multiple times a day. It was a little intense but that was really the only issue. The week itself was really great and I highly recommend that if you're in the Illinois/Wisconsin/Iowa area check out Camp Decorah for summer camp. #bsa #summercamp #scouting #camping

My oldest and I are at BSA Summer Camp in western Wisconsin this week. At our campsite there's a small picnic shelter that is home to a pair of house wrens with three hungry babies. I've been watching the parents bring food to the babies. The parents appear to be trying to encourage them to come out of the nest to get the food, but so far they're being lazy and refusing. Quite the ruckus when they are not fed as soon as they see the parent. 😆 #birds #Wisconsin #wildlife #summercamp #scouting
