Wait, what happened to the SwiftUI #Accessibility inspector in #Xcode? The one on the right panel? Wait, where did the SwiftUI inspector go? #iosdev
I guess it's that time of #shipaton where I get to add in the @revenuecat spm package. #buildInPublic #iOSDev #healthKitty https://music.apple.com/au/album/money-money-money/1440816833?i=1440816971
I don’t like MVVM with SwiftUI. The context of the view is too powerful compared to what I can write in the VM.
MVVM is always s little bulkier, but this feels like my VM is bigger by itself than the view would be. #iOSDev
After years of watching other people write about software development, I decided that I wanted to give it a try too…
So I started a new blog!
To kick things off I wrote a (slightly belated) SwiftUI Wish List, but what I’m really looking forward to sharing is a new app I’m working on, and some of the development (mis)adventures I’ve had.
Read the first post here and let me know what you think: https://adevlog.com/2025/07/a-swiftui-wish-list/

Moving mapping and aggregation of analytics items from the iOS code base to materialized views in Supabase.
Not only will it reduce complexity in the code but also make lookups faster (when traversing graphs) and enable reusing for a web dashboard!

It seems watch apps are not very popular. Coding a little watch app just for my own fun has shown me so many issues, it’s hard to believe these were not fixed long ago …
Are you still developing watchApps? Do you use WatchApps other than the standard ones?
Having a nice time making a little app to help me switch off from the doom scrolling. Colour modes and relaxing animations. Just got to get some small details smoothed out and hopefully release soon!
The preview app seems to crash so I can't even open the app.
