MY experience with HP and Pavilion in particular been :

- NEVER ANY MORE IN MY LIFE ANOTHER ONE
- crap build quality
- non-upgradeable
- poor performance
- cannot install Linux on it ( not sure why, tried the impossible )
- battery went soon shit

Overall my impression is that HP is NOT "a good brand" for laptops.
