🚨#TechWeenie Alert

“I expected at least a few people to leave the walk-up line immediately, but the only ones who did were two families of #Tesla owners who went back to order from within their cars.

Even if the app didn’t work for them, they would still get their #food faster. The #hierarchy was clear: things were broken for everyone, but owners of #Musk products had to suffer slightly less.”

USA is broken. 🤣😂☺️

"So what is #redpill? [It is not a #politicalideology]

Elle Reeve: I think red pill is the one that people have heard the most generally associated with #rightwingpolitics. So it comes from #TheMatrix where #KeanuReeves is presented the red pill and the blue pill, the red pill will give him the ugly truth that humanity is slave to machines. It’s horrible. It hurts, but it’s true. The blue pill, he goes back to the pleasant illusion created by the machines.

I think it’s really important, embedded within that, taking the red pill doesn’t mean taking on a new ideology. It means you’re being stripped of your illusions and just seeing the truth.

Chris Hayes: Right. It’s very useful #propaganda in the same way that like calling Fox fair and balanced is which is you’re not getting inculcated to a new political ideology. You’re shedding your illusions and seeing the truth. And the truth is usually natural human hierarchies of sex, of race, of other forms, that the illusion is of equality. The reality is #hierarchy. The reality is #domination. The reality is people on top and on the bottom, the reality is like IQ, race science, all that stuff. Right?

Elle Reeve: Absolutely. That’s the whole bag."

"The evolution of male–female dominance relations in primate societies"

pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2500

<💬>
Males were long believed to dominate females socially in most primates. Recent studies have challenged this perspective, paving the way for a more comprehensive exploration of male–female power relations. Here, we quantify and examine variation in intersexual dominance relationships across 121 primate species. We show that societies where males win nearly all aggressive encounters against females are actually rare. Evolutionarily, females became more dominant when they gained more control over reproduction, as in monogamous, monomorphic, or arboreal species, as well as when they faced more competition, as in solitary or pair-living species. Contrarily, male-biased dominance prevails in terrestrial, sexually dimorphic, and polygynous species. These results may also deepen debates about the origins of gender roles in human societies.

Remember, EvoPsych is a pseudoscience.

#Mutualaid is about the establishment of a community of reciprocal care.

I'd like to argue that it is a form of protest.

It says that #eugenics, #fascism and #xenophobia will not be permitted to further endanger or extinguish lives.

It establishes a message to those who seek harm, that they'll not achieve their goal without a fight.

Uplifting #community is an eff you to #capitalism and #colonialism seeking to form the value of lives into a #hierarchy.

The Omnivore's Deception | John Sanbonmatsu

youtube.com/watch?v=pZq5KknPrN8

"The meat industry and its defenders promise ethical consumption and sustainable farming, but animal agriculture fuels ecological destruction, entrenches human supremacy, and masks cruelty with comforting myths. John Sanbonmatsu, philosopher and author of The Omnivore’s Deception, shatters the myths of “humane meat” and the 'naturalness' of eating meat, and explains why abolishing the animal economy is essential to living an ethical human life. The difference between #libertarianism & #authoritarianism really amounts to a difference of scale.

If you think you should have complete control over others within some domain that you own, but that no one should have any control over you within that domain, this is called #Hierarchy, and you are not a libertarian, you are an authoritarian. That's #feudalism.

The libertarian philosophy is that no one should have or exert any control over anyone else, period. In other words, #Equality. #USpol

“The new fascism: Israel is the template for Trump and Europe’s war on freedom”

@UKLabour

“The wide-ranging crackdown on political speech is being framed as a 'war on antisemitism'. But fascism was always going to return in disguise, calling its opponents, not itself, the Nazis”
