So Finnish #SIGINT kept the HQ informed of the positions of Finnish units by reading reports from the Red Army. One general noted that he had a better knowledge of enemy troops and their dispositions than he had of its own.

And yeah, Stella Polaris went awry. Apparently there was a big misunderstanding: the Swedes expected to receive archives and equipment for safekeeping, with a few operators, but the Finns had understood that they can evacuate all the key personnel _and_ their families - and continue intel ops.

I downloaded the book and read chapter 2 “MASS DIGITAL SURVEILLANCE AND
NATIONAL SECURITY TECHNOTOPIAS”
It taught me a few things about the constitutionality of surveillance in South Africa I did not now. It seems we are still waiting for politicians to do the right thing and most people stare at you as if you are a total nut-job if you talk about privacy and surveillance.

#Russki_SIGINT longread is now out, gentlemen and it caused quite a stir, as the notorious Russian spy satellite Olymp-K2 suddenly came drifting into the segment of our research [0° to 15° east] . Special sort of #SIGINT sat performing dangerously close approaches to intercept the satellite bus *steering commands* of the Eutelsat teleports. All sat targets of the Vienna station included.

While I'm no longer in the IC and can't confirm my suspicions, I simply don't think it's that plausible that everything is flowing as normal in Five Eyes. I can see why people would *say* it is. But an American intelligence & CI apparatus run by malicious, compromised kooks Gabbard, Patel, Ratcliffe, Trump, is one you need to put strong filters on, going both ways. #FiveEyes #intelligence #SIGINT #HUMINT
