Time for a break ⏰😊

The last couple of days, I was out of office due to a bad case of the flu. I find it aways difficult to get back into work mode after being away.

It’s one of those moments when I need some extra help to get back into my workflows.

#Pomodoro and #coffee to the rescue! 😄

The good stuff of 12 Feb 2025:
- applying pomodoro-with-notes again to ensure to concentrate on work. Every 25 min I note what I am doing at that very minute, then I stand and stretch or walk a bit, and back to next pomodoro. Catched myself procrastinating only once, and that was stopped as soon as I had to write it down.
- made a chicory oven dish that reconciled me with the vegetable
- only one side of crochet bubbles left on the shawl I'm making!

Marcin ‘mbork’ Borkowski about his version of #pomodoro which he calls #tomato: mbork.pl/2025-02-01_ketchup.el

Well, it sounds to me that the pomodoro method is not working for him for the same reasons it was not working for me - although I only tried for a brief period of time.

Marcin found some interesting variant. I would have declared this method non-functional for me instead. 😈

Back to using Pomodoro timers to stay on track. Always work great, its just that for some reason I always stop using them. Anyway, I really like this one - pomofocus.io/. I just pin the tab with it running and listen for my timers to hit.
